Which postage option should I choose?

Australia Post provides estimated delivery times of 5-6 business days for standard post and 2-3 days for express. Please be aware that standard post does not come with a delivery date guarantee, if you need your items in less than 14 working days I highly recommend purchasing the express post.

If your item does not arrive within the expected timeframe please contact me and I will follow up with Australia Post.

Something is wrong with my purchase, what now?

If you find any issues with your item, please contact me so we can work out a solution. It is important to check your item prior to washing, once an item has been washed or used refunds may not be available.

Refund or replacement will be provided for items which are faulty or become so with normal use/care once the item has been returned.

Custom items are not refundable except in cases where the work is faulty or become so with normal use/care. I do not offer refunds for change of mind for custom items. Please make sure you have confirmed all details of custom items with me prior to paying your invoice so disappointment doesn't occur.

What is dyed-to-order?

Some of my colourways are available only as dyed-to-order skeins. This means that your yarn will be dyed following your purchase to ensure that your entire order is dyed in a single batch. The reason for this is that due to the nature of my dyeing process there can be differences between the same colourway dyed in different batches, by dyeing your order in a single lot there will be greater consistency across the skeins which is beneficial when working on larger projects.

What is a pre-order?

For some items, such as advent calendars, the yarn/fibre needs to be dyed in a single batch to ensure consistency. In these situations I have chosen to use a pre-order system where customers pay for their order in advance. The timeframe for these items can vary, advent calendars typically have a 4-5 month period between the last date of payment and the items being posted. For smaller pre-orders this timeframe may be around a month. Please make sure you read any information provided in the pre-order description so you understand these details.

How do custom orders work?

Custom orders typically involve a specific request that can not be found in my current or previous colourways. These are not exclusive colourways so unless this is specifically discussed/requested I may choose to re-dye the colourway in the future. If you wish to enquire about an exclusive colourway I am happy to discuss this with you.

Custom orders under 400g of a single colourway will incur an additional $5 custom fee.

If you would like me to dye sample skeins/fibre (typically 20g) in order to match a specific colour there will be additional fees of $1 per sample skein/fibre requested.  These sample skeins/fibre can be purchased at a discounted rate of $5 each in addition to your custom yarn.
